James (Jim) Gibson is the founder of Service Omni™ and is an active entrepreneur in industries ranging from telecommunications to internet.
Mr. Gibson has spent 15 years in the telecommunications industry building successful revenue centers and managing efficient cost centers. Most recently, Jim effectively segued his technology background into several online business start-ups. His diverse portfolio of experience includes senior executive management in the areas of operations, product management, business development, customer service management and sales and marketing.
In addition to Service Omni™, Jim is currently the CEO and founder of CommSolve, Inc., a boutique consulting firm specializing in telecom sales and marketing strategies. Jim is also a co-founder and Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing of Quakedog.com, an online distributor platform that sells turn-key ebusinesses that focus on disaster emergency preparedness supplies for the consumer market.
Jim most recently held the post of Executive Vice President, Business Development of Continan Communications (OTC:CNTN) and also served on the company's Board of Directors. In 2006, Mr. Gibson was an integral part of the team that took Continan public and saw the company successfully launch its wireless service platform in the USA and Western Europe.
Jim earned his BA from the University of North Texas and currently resides with his wife Diana in Glendale a suburb of Los Angeles, California.
COO, Executive VP External Affairs: Mr. Steven J. Rosenthal
Mr. Rosenthal brings to Serviceomni.com years of dynamic experience as a high-level executive and attorney. Starting his career at AT&T, where he worked full-time while attending law school at night, Steve's energies have been devoted to telecommunications and the Internet.
He was a founder and Executive Vice President of QuadraCom, the first on-line billing and private label telecommunications company. At QuadraCom, Steve was responsible for day-to-day operations, oversaw the company's marketing activities and was responsible for direct interaction with ISPs.
Steve was also Vice President and General Manager of ICC, a specialized telecommunications company where he ran the business day-to-day and spearheaded interactions with government agencies to create a new regulatory framework. For a sister company, Steve was vital in creating international distribution channels, utilizing his skills as General Counsel to create a first in kind international representative agreement.
Steve was also Vice President External Affairs and General Counsel of OAN Services, Inc., a major telecommunications billing company. Here, among his many accomplishments, Steve was a member of the Executive Committee and was responsible for interacting with Fortune 50 Service Providers. During this period, Steve was also a Director and Officer of the Coalition of Responsible Billing, which represented the industry before various government agencies and created consumer protection guidelines.
More recently, Steve has his own consulting business and law practice where he has been deeply involved with major players (Yahoo! being one) involving the Internet as well as with VOIP, and advises companies in many vital areas including the buy/sell, domestic regulatory, and international arenas. Steve creates and negotiates, among many other agreements, major contracts in the internet portal and search engine arenas.
EVP Business Development & Financial Planning: Mr. Ross Nordin
Mr. Nordin plays a key part of the leadership for the development and execution of the business strategy. He has extensive experience in developing and maintaining systems for internal and external control of business and financial operations. With his expertise in technology start-ups both here and overseas, Mr. Nordin will provides a solid backbone for Serviceomni.com through the assessment of various investor relations and observation of business economic and fiscal stability.
Ross has an MBA from the University of Michigan as well as an engineering degree. He has a wide range of experience developing new business entities in Europe and the US and has initiated strategies for raising capital in equity markets. His efforts focus on business modeling, financial controls and managing the financial risk.
Before joining Serviceomni.com, Ross provided a full range of financial expertise as a business consultant where he developed operational and strategic plans. He also has had senior roles in product development and program management for engineering and manufacturing firms. Ross resides in Los Angeles, California.
Chief Technology Officer: Mr. Jim Reed
Mr. Reed is the CEO and Founder of NovaEdge Technologies LLC, a software engineering company that specializes in large-scale e-commerce, content management and database application websites, software product design and technology planning.
Jim has over ten years experience in software production management, software architecture and database architecture. Prior to founding his own company, Jim was Director of Engineering for j2 Global Communications, the makers of eFax, where he lead development of many of the company's internet faxing, messaging and communication systems. Jim also worked as a Research Linguist for Panasonic's Speech Technology Lab where he did research in assistive technologies for injured and deaf speakers.
Jim obtained a BA in Linguistics at Pomona College in Claremont, CA and went on to graduate studies in Linguistics at UC Santa Barbara where he focused on Nepali and Himalayan linguistics. Jim has lived abroad in Nepal and Russia and speaks English, Nepali, Russian and French.
Executive VP Product Management: Mr. Brayton Fisher
Mr. Fisher has over 20 years of experience in software and systems development, primarily in startup and small company settings. Brayton is presently President of TheTelecomAnalysts.com, providing telecommunications analysis and operations consulting services to a number of clients, representing over a billion minutes a month in voice traffic.
Previously, Brayton was Vice President of Technology for Paystar SHS, and prior to that Vice President of Operations for TotalAxcess, both publicly-traded companies in the telecommunications area. Prior to these companies, Brayton was a founder of Magellan Network Systems, Inc, which sold large-scale enhanced services telecommunications systems, including internet-based back-office software, to telecommunications providers.
Brayton was primarily involved in setting up the infrastructure for these companies, including contributing to the business plans, developing policies and procedures, specifying, designing and implementing systems, and setting up operations, customer service, training, documentation and technical sales support. Brayton has degrees in both Business and Computer Science from the University of Iowa.
Vice President, Corporate Development: Mr. James E. Everingham
Mr. Everingham has over 20 years of business development and management consulting experience. He began his career as a Consultant with Grant Thornton in Los Angeles in the mid 80's. In addition to leading QuakeDog.com, Mr. Everingham is currently the CEO of Scope Check a biotech company that develops wireless digital diagnostic medical devices.
Jay has successfully led companies from startup through acquisition and successfully to the public market. Mr. Everingham was the founder and CEO of National Billing Exchange, Inc. for 8 years, North America's highest rated telecommunications clearinghouse.
After the successful sale of NBE, Mr. Everingham joined another telecommunications transaction clearinghouse, OAN Services, Inc. as COO for 4 years. In 2001, Mr. Everingham founded ClickPay Solutions, Inc. (OTC:CKPY) a payment processing company to provide Cashless-Check-Cashing services to convenience store chains using a unique blend of check guarantee services and prepaid MasterCard capability.
He received his B.A in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
The story of Service Omni™ is really about a group of guys who all share a dream.. well, in reality, it started with one guy's vision and slowly became our collective dream as each new member joined the team.
The original vision was simple: I wanted to create an online resource where I could find rated local services that would come to me to take care of my time consuming personal tasks. What I really wanted was someone to free up my schedule so I could go out and have more fun with my wife, family and friends.
I, like most of you, found myself inundated with too many things on my plate. But I, like most, made time to get my chores done.
Daily runs to the bank, down to the post office, drop off dry cleaning, walking the dog, trimming the hedges, watering the lawn, painting the kitchen, personal bookkeeping, cleaning the house, installing wifi networks, (did I mention picking up the dry cleaning?) and getting the car washed all had me clamoring for a taste of more free time.
The only problem was, as my personal responsibilities grew, something had to give. What happened next is what happens with most people. I spent less quality time with my wife, our family our friends.. and definitely less time having fun!
The cataclysmic point came late one Friday. I was buried deep in work when my wife called. She asked me to get my dirty car washed since we were meeting our friends for dinner that night.
Begrudgingly, I was sitting at the car wash, watching the clock and waiting my turn, thinking of the unfinished work I left behind (and piling up) and I said to myself, there has to be a better way!
There should be an easy way to find people who will come do all this for me. But how can I find these people in my crazy time challenged life? More importantly, how can I find someone honest, trusted, reliable and not to mention, reasonably priced?

After spending weeks writing variations of the business concept, I made some calls. I pitched the idea to a handful of close friends, all highly respected and successful entrepreneurs. Before I knew it, our team came together.

Omni Tools™ was born out of the necessity for local providers to interact with online customers in a more useful way.
