To better protect the customer's privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way the customer's information is collected and used. Information Collection and Use

Service Omni, Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected on the Service Omni web site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. What information does Service Omni™ collect and how do we use it?

  • When a service is paid for through the portal, we need to know the customer name, e-mail address, mailing address, day time contact number credit card number, and expiration date. We also ask for the customer's mobile number so we can send schedule reminders via SMS text messaging (Opt in required). With this information we can process the customer's order and notify service providers of the customer's order status. In addition, we will need to know where customers would like to have the ordered service delivered as it may be different than the credit card billing address (i.e., business address)
  • When customer's sign up for our notification services (to receive free email or SMS updates about third party sponsored special offers, sales, new services, and more), we need only an e-mail address and/or mobile number to send the information requested by the customer. Opt-In is required for SMS notifications and customers may discontinue the SMS notification service at any time. To disable this feature, users must follow directions in the Notify Me section in the customer's Profile section.
  • When customers use our Refer a Friend function, we need the customer's e-mail address so that we can provide you with a token of our gratitude, free Omni Bucks™. We also need the customer's friend's e-mail address to send them free registration information.
  • When you use our Refer a Service Provider function, we need the provider's e-mail address and the prospective provider's address and phone number. Again, we collect the referring customers email address so that we can provide Omni Bucks™ for referred Service Providers. NOTE: Referred Service Providers must successfully register with Service Omni for customer to receive free Omni Bucks™.
  • We never collect any personal information about customers or service providers unless a requested service requires it.then, we only ask for the specific information that is needed to satisfy the customer's/service providers request (such as when you want to order services from our Member Providers or you want to order services directly from Service Omni™). Any information you provide is kept in the strictest confidence. So are all of the customer's transactions on our Web site. Look for the SSL. certificate seal for guaranteed assurance that the customer's information is processed in the highest security.
  • We monitor traffic patterns and site usage so to help us develop the design and layout of the site.
  • We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers on our site. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area of our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration from, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.
  • We gather customer information primarily so we can offer customers and service providers compelling and easily accessible content. We use "traffic reports" (reports about the Web sites that send people to this site) so that we can choose the best places to reach people who are interested in shopping online.
Security of customer information

When services are purchased online, we use a secure server. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'. The secure server software (Secure Sockets Layer or SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users. information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information.

Will Service Omni™ share information it collects with outside parties?

Service Omni™ will never, under any circumstances, share, sell or otherwise reveal any personal information about you except to the extent necessary to complete the customer's orders or other transactions. We may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns, and related site information to reputable third-party Service Providers, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information. Service Omni™ may release account information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with the law, (ii) enforce or apply the terms of any of our user agreements or (iii) protect the rights, property or safety of Service Omni™, our users, or others.

Companies that place advertisements on our site may collect information about you when you view or click on their ads. Please be aware that Service Omni™ is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Web site.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to "opt-out" or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

There are only two exceptions to the above detailed guidelines:

  1. In the unlikely event that Service Omni™ or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.
  2. We will release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law; enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Service Omni™, our users, or others.
What information is collected when I place orders for products and services?

When you order a particular product or service, you are ordering and purchasing that product or service from a Merchant Partner utilizing Service Omni's secure transaction systems. All products and services purchased from a Merchant Partner are subject to the Merchant Partner's terms and conditions of sale, which can be found on the Merchant Partner's Site, or other Merchant Partner documents, including the Merchant Partner's return policies, warranties and other terms. That particular merchant may store information collected while purchasing products.

How can a customer correct, update and/or remove information?

You may correct or update information that you provide to us at any time (for example, if you change your registered email address). This does not apply to the customer's username (which you will need to create if you decide to use some of our unique shopping features). If you lose or forget the registered password, we can prompt you by using the hint you provided to us at registration. If you are unable to provide the customer's password within 5 attempts, the system will close down the customer's account for the customer's security. For the customer's protection, we permit a limited number of login attempts to the customer's account.

You must contact Service Omni customer service and provide specific security details to have the account re-opened. If you do not contact customer service within 30 days of experiencing a .locked. account, you may have to re-register in order to obtain a new account. All Omni Bucks™ earned in the original account may be forfeited as a result. You also may remove the customer's information entirely from our database at any time by deleting it from the appropriate fields in this Web site. Removing information will help ensure that you do not receive future communications from us.

To update the customer's information or remove it entirely, go to the customer's personal Dashboard.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small data file that most Web sites write to the customer's computer's hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information such as a user ID, which the site uses to track the Web pages that you've visited. By themselves, cookies can't be used to identify individuals. Service Omni™ uses cookies to help keep track of the customer's preferences so that we can tailor the customer's shopping experience to better suit the customer's needs. We also use cookies to monitor traffic patterns on our site, to let us know whether you've visited our site in the past, and to determine whether you came to our site from a particular Internet link or banner advertisement. If you disable the use of cookies on the customer's browser, the customer's access to certain Service Omni™ features may be limited.

Unless you specifically tell us, we will never know the customer's identity or how to reach you -- even though we assign a cookie to the customer's computer.

Advertisers on our site have the ability to assign a different cookie to you, a process that we do not control. Still, since cookies cannot be used to identify you in any way, advertisers will never know who you are and we will never give them the customer's personal information.

Affiliate Site User Information

Service Omni, Inc. is the sole and exclusive owner of the personal and demographic information that it acquires from users in the course of administrating the Service Omni™ Network, and will use such information as set forth in Service Omni's Privacy Policy. Neither party will, by act or omission, violate or encourage a third party to violate any applicable law in relation to the collection, use or re-use of the user information.

Consent & Notification

By registering and/or using our Web site, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Service Omni™.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we would notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
